Stanley Burton has been selected as one of 4 Finalists at HONOUR 2022
This morning I woke up to the best news! I was scrolling through Instagram in bed (as you do) that ACON NSW has released the finalists for HONOUR 2022 It is ACON's annual awards ceremony which recognises outstanding service and achievements in NSW's LGBTI communities.
This is as much our accomplishment as everyone who has collaborated and contributed to Stanley Burton in the last 12 months. We have been working closely with our photographer BAM in Tokyo, a tight pool of selective brand champs who understand the importance of representation and empowerment. Also our customers as community champs for sending out the positive message about our online store.
As business owners, we also spend countless hours discussing important topics such as the importance of representation for the marginalised communities, cultural representation, age inclusion, body positivity and also about people living with HIV.
We have also received a lot of compliments and comments from our customers over the last 12 months in Instagram’s DM, Newsletter responses As you know I am always happy to chat whenever possible. I feel that this is how we can have a better understanding of the individuals within the community and also demystify some of the issues around us.
You can see some of our accomplishments in our Media Page. Burton and I will continue our journey by using our voices to influence the customers and the wider community. We are also working on other great projects, so stay tuned! We welcome your contribution by engaging in our Instagram posts with comments Facebook and under our columns in Stanley Burton website.
When you shop at Stanley Burton, you are more than 'just another customer', you have become another community champ who understands our purposes and a stronger link that can strengthen our community.
We are grateful to be in the company of other amazing Sydney businesses who also contribute to our community, we definitely need more of them.
